My father, Martin Ilczyszyn b. 10-7-1918, born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, d.6-7-1991, died in Cicero, Illinois, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, and my mother, Maria (Loyko) Ilczyszyn, b.7-25-1925, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, currently residing in Cicero, Illinois, born in the village of Lebedyn, Schplonska R-N, Cherkaska Oblast, Ukraine, came to the United States via New York from Germany. They met in a forced labor camp. Married in Germany and two children followed, daughter Anna (Ilczyszyn) Mural, b. 5-7-1947, in Germany, currently residing in Cicero, Illinois and Vladymir (Walt)Oleh Ilczyszyn, b.7-18-1948, born in Germany, married to Victoria (McGuire) Ilczyn, b.4-7-1948, formerly of Dabuque, Iowa, both currently residing in Itasca, Illinois. The family emmigrated to the US in 1949-50. Another son was born, Dmytro Stefan Ilczyszyn, b. 8-28-1954, in Chicago, Illinois, d. 6-20-1993 in Cicero, Illinois. Finally me, another daughter, Teresa Oksana (Ilczyszyn) Smith Harkey, b. 6-21-1959, in Chicago, Illinois, currently residing in Lake Geneva, Wiscosnin. I know of my maternal family living in Lebedyn, but very little about my paternal side. I believe my father's mothers' name was Yustina Ilczyszyn and a sister by the name of Yuliana Ilczyszyn. My Dad mentioned a relative by the name of Mihaylo (Michael) Mikita that emmigrated to Canada around the same time. I would really enjoy finding information regarding my paternal side of the family along with any other information regarding any of the subjects mentioned.

Child of Vladymir, with his former wife Barbara (Mosinski) Ilczysyzn, b. 7-5-1951, formerly of Chicago, Illinois,currently in New York, Richard Anthony Ilczyszyn, b. 6-25- 1968, residing in Chicago, Illinois, with his wife, Kelly (Farnworth) Ilczyszyn, formerly of Pasadena, California, his children with his former wife, Maya Ilczyszyn, son, Logan Ilczyszyn, b. 8-27-1986 and daughter, Hannah Ilczyszyn, b. 8-8-1988, both residing in New Mexico with their mother.

Nicolas Stefan Ilczyszyn, b. 6-8-1979, currently residing in Texas and daughter, Stefanie Marie (Ilczyszyn) Norstrum, b. 7-3-1981, residing in Minnesota with her husband and son.
Children of Teresa, with her former husband Robert Calvin Smith Jr., b. 7-17-1954, formerly of Stickney, Illinois, currently in Texas, daughter, Dawn Marie Smith, b. 12-30- 1977, formerly of Minooka, Illinios, residing in Houston, Texas, daughter, Patricia Lynn (Smith) Beaudry, b. 5-20-1980, married to Jason Beaudry, b. 5-30-1976, parents of Morgan Mai Beaudry, b.2-7-2005, and expecting another in March 2008, all reside in Channahon, Illinois. Children with her former husband John Earl Harkey, b. 5-15-1958, formerly of Cicero, Illinois, currently residing in Minooka, Illinois, daughter, Theresa Ann (Harkey)Langer, b.8-15-1988, married to Joseph Lloyd Langer, b.6-22-1982, both residing in Franklin, Wisconsin, son John Michael Harkey, b. 2-25-1990, currently residing with his mother in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
