Leslie Basil Inche (my grandfather), was in the Navy and he married Kathleen Mary Randall (my grandmother) who was a nurse. They settled in South Africa and had three children, Thomas Herman Reginald Inche (my father), Harry Inch and Yvonne Inch. My father married Loreen Dalmira Frost who was born in Krugersdorp South Africa. I was born on the 10th of April 1961 in Northern Rhodesia, now Zambia, and named Carol-Anne Inche. I am led to believe that I have Cornish roots on my father's side, but am fairly new at doing my family tree. The "e" I have been told was added to the Inch name by my grandfather Leslie Basil after a family feud which lasted more than 20 years. My grandfather had a brother Harry Inch who I believed held one or more boxing titles. My grandfather himself dabbled in boxing and was in the feather and bantam weight category. He also had two sisters (twins), one was Alice and I believe the other was Mary. I've been led to believe that a Richard Hambly Inch was either my grandfather's brother or possibly a grandfather, but that is as far as I've managed to go at this stage. I believe that I am descended from the Innes clan, but again am very in the dark at this stage. I believe my grandmother on my mother's side was descendant from the French Heugonot's Delaquis, but do not know any more than that.
