P C Inglis personally visted the Catholic Church in Abbeyleix 22/6/2006 There was only a record of Henry Thomas Hernon's Christening in the Record Books. No sign of his Brother Frederick or Sister Florence Christening. The Father present 6/2006 suggested that the priest in charge at the time failed to transfer the details from the Register Counterfoil to the Register Book.
