I have been researching the Insko/Eaton families since 1998.My grandfather was Silas Insko/Inscho,Born 1852 Miami Indiana,Silas was married twice,his 2nd wife was my grandmother Nellie Eaton.They moved to Canada @ 1904 to Hichcock Saskatchewan,he passed away 1931 in Estevan Sask.Nellie passed away 1940.
Silas was born Silas Inscho he later changed it to Insko . There are different spellings Insko,Inscho,Insco,Inscoe,Inscow
Thanks for the research done by Kurt Hahn i believe my ancesters go back to John Inscow 1627 in England.My family line would be John, Edward, John, Joseph, Samuel, Moses, John, Silas, Amasa, Brian Insko.There are alot of other people who have done research on this family who deserve alot of thanks,without there research none of this would be possible.
I have old photos of John and Alvira Inscho,there family,Silas,Nellie Eaton,The Eaton Family,and many more,some have names others do not.These photos helped me alot in my research thanks to a great lady my aunt Jessie. I will post most of these photos.
Silas was first married to Flo Durbon ,they had 4 children Walter,Thurlow,Mable and another daughter ,but we don,t have her name,just pictures,with this imformation and the help from cousin Ernest we located decendents of Thurlow Insko,we all got together for a reunion,it was great i hope to have another reunion in 2010 or 2011.I now have the forth child of silas and flo durbon her name was winnifred insko.
