James Inverarity, Rosemount House, Montrose, Scotland

Updated November 9, 2000

About Our Family Research

I was fortunate to travel to Montrose, Hillside Village, Scotland in the summer of 1999 with only the name of my Great Grandfather, James Inverarity and the name of the estate he was raised on, Rosemount House, Montrose, Scotland.
I found a wealth of information at the Montrose Library and Museum. The information would lead me to the location of the original Rosemount House which was destroyed in 1982 and to the
carriage house that is now a beautiful residence.
Tracing my geneology has been a wonderful adventure on which I have found a distant relative and more information than I dreamed possible.
I have many blanks to fill and look forward to hearing from anyone searching Inverarity, Duncan, Willoughby, Wright, Swenson, Collins, Wurthmann, or Lyon.
Good Luck!!
