Updated March 12, 2009

About Our Family Research

According to my third cousin once removed Susanne(our common ancestor is Johann Irmiter) there was a terrible plague in Kaifenheim around the year 1800. Johann Irmiter was the only member of his family to survive.

Johann Irmiter married Anna Maria Klein. They had nine children.

Their names were Anna Maria, Elisabeth, Maria Catherine, Peterus, Jakob, Antonius, Hubert, Nikolaus, Mathias.

My grandfather, Jacob Irmiter (not the son of Johann, but the grandson of Jakob, or great-grandson of Johann, was married to Margaret Toepp. They had six children.

Their names were Richard Henry, Joan Elizabeth, James Francis (my father), Donn Paul, Jean Margaret and Jon Peter.

My Father James Francis Irmiter was married to Ellen Marie Carmody. They had ten children.

Their names were: Nicholas Peter, Margaret Mary, Christopher James, Catherine Mary, Daniel Francis, William Michael, Michael Patrick (that's me), Gerard Paul, James and Joseph John.

I am married to Kimberly Giusti and we have two daughters, Ellen Ann and Grace Ann.
