My Great Grandfather Gabrial Eason married Melinda Kennedy raised 10 children. They lived in and around Decatur County and Henderson County, in Tennessee, later they moved to Wetumka, OK and settled. My grand mother was Arbie Eason was the 3rd child, of Gab & Melinda Eason. She was in Scott's Hill, TN and that is where all 10 children were born. They are in order: Charles, Armentha (Minnie), Arbie, Jess, Ollie Bell, Lucy, Arthur, Chesley (Omar), Perry, Ethel. Charles, came with them to Oklahoma but later returned to Scott's Hill. Charles and wife Daisy had one daughter Jewell. All 10 children and spouses are now deceased. Gabrial's ancestor's came from North Carolina, (Pitt, Edgecombe County.) Armstead Eason married Chrischaney Duck.
And from the 10 children, Arbie Idella, was my grandmother, and she married William Artie Smith and from that union came 5 children, Opal, Ray, Iris, Farris & Glen. And Iris was my mother.
