i have been looking for ancestors with the family name( casburn.)
from 1776, when a William Casburn , married an Elizabeth Manning.in 1798. elizabeth was 100yrs and 3 months old when she died. and had 12 children. i have found 3 sons 3 daughters . but have been unable to trace the rest. Elizabeth is my 3times removed great grandma. her son, no 3 .John Thomas is my line of descent, his son Ebenezer. is my great granddad. and my Granddas name . was Ebenezer Frank Thorpe Casburn, the Thorpe being his mothers maiden name. she was an ALICE THORPE. who came from Spalding, in Lincolnshire. the Casburn, name comes from ,Burwell in Cambridgeshire, and they have now settled all over the world.
my father , was EDward Oliver Casburn. dob 15-10-1913. he was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire . England . the youngest of 6 children,, all boys. My name before marriage was Casburn. and i am now almost 63yrs old. and still trying to trace family. ANY HELP WOULD BE appreciated.
