I am looking for information on ancestors and descendants of my great grandfather Joseph Camp Irvin (1865-1928) and my great grandmother Myra Haseltine Cobb (1885-1971). Joseph is the son of Robert "Bob" Irvin (est. 1828 to est. 1877) and Mary C. Aldridge (1828-1924). The information on Bob Irvin is sketchy.
Joseph Camp Irvin told his son, Robert William Irvin Sr. (1905-1981), that he was about 12 or 13 years old when his father died.
The name listed on Joseph Camp Irvin death certificate states Bob Irvin as his father and it is assumed that since "Bob" is a nickname for Robert that his name is Robert.
