Updated February 23, 2005

About Our Family Research

Researching the history of the name Isaac or Isaacs who appear at the village of Gussage All Saints in the 17th century. The family at that time were Richard Isaacs and Phillis (nee Frampton) Relatives from that family have lived in Dorset in Holt, Chalbury, Hinton Martell and Wimborne.

One family member went to Canada around the 1940's named Frederick William Isaacs with a man named Chappell and lived in Ontario but no further information at present.

My name is Rick Isaacs and I live near the town of Wimborne in Dorset and I am carrying out the research but not in conjunction with any other family members at this time. Anyone who has an interest in the surname Isaacs in Dorset is most welcome to contact me at my e mail address rickyisaacs@tiscali.co.uk.

My other interest is the name Earl that was my mothers maiden name and originates from the Selby area of Yorkshire and Humberside.
