My Father's name was Ramon Ithier Ramirez, Son of Antonia Ramirez de Arellano;married to Anselmo Ithier. Both Antonia and Anselmo from San German and Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Ramon was born in San German,P.R. 01/15/03 as far as I know. However, Ramon's father, Anselmo, supposedly was french, living in San German or Mayaguez.Supposedly there was a brother named Benigno Ithier who travelled between Puerto Rico and The Dominican Republic.Among Ramon Ithier's sibling was: Joaquin,Pedro,Blasina,my father Ramon,Damaso,Ismael and Isabel. I understand there was another sister named Paquita(Francisca) who lived in another part of P.R. I never met her and I don't know of anyone that has. She had children, but I never met them.
What I have learned was from old records obtained from the Catholic Church in San German and Mayaguez.To my knowledge all of the Ithier siblings travelled at one time or another to NYC. However, I don't believe that Paquita did.
