Notes for Gertrieth Mabel Arnold: Her first name is Gertrieth, but she hated it, and we would never have known what it was had it not been on Ules's birth certificate. When she was a baby her family lived in hill country. One day when her mother was doing the washing outside, she lost Mabel. She found she had rolled down the hill and was playing with a snake inside the fence at the bottom of the hill.
She loved the military life she lived with second husband Bert. Traveled all over Europe and the US with him. She was Mom Jones to many a young Airman.
She is a very opinionated woman, but very loving.
Died in the hospital in Orlando. She is buried in Winter Park in the Glen Haven Memorial Park.
