Notes for Dorothy Geneal Phillips: Geneal married Uncle Don after caring for his sick wife until her death. She maintained her home in Orlando for several years after his death, but Aunt Geneal moved to Arkansas in 1995 to be near family. She maintained her independence until the end of her life. She was a starchy little lady, with very firm ideas about how things should be and no problem sharing those ideas with friends and family. She had no children of her own, but she had at least 7 nieces and nephews who loved her greatly, and in the moment of her death (2:15 A.M.) she was attended by Her brother George, sister-in-law Nan, Anna, Pam, and Tom. She was cremated and her ashes reside with her step granddaughter Celeste in Florida, but she will be buried in Winter Park with Uncle Don eventually.
