Thomas Jefferson Turley (son of Unknown Patriarch Turley and Unknown) was born Abt. 1813 in South Carolina, and died Abt. 1859. He married Anna Hill, daughter of Isaac Hill and Alcy Ann.

Thomas Jefferson Turley was born in South Carolina, probably in the Spartanburg-Laurens District area. Nothing is known of his ancestry. He married Anna Hill, daughter of Isaac Hill and Alcy Ann______. They moved from South Carolina to Arkansas between 1854 and 1855, En route, they stopped in Mississippi and produced a crop. Thomas Jefferson Turley is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery near Mineral Springs. A sandstone marker had T.J. Turley, age 45, scratched on it, but it no longer marks the grave. He died in 1825 or 1829.
