I was told that I am related to people such as Ulysses S. Grant and the man that shot Abraham Lincoln (John Wilkes Boothe). This is not a great claim to fame, but one I would like to explore more. I was born 1 of 10 Children in S.E. IA. to parents who worked in factories to support our family. I am interested in learning more about my family history and finding lineage of a great grandmother who died after giving birth to my maternal grandmother. Otherwise, my search for half of my history will end abruptly!
