I am Frederic Arthur Jaques, known as Deric Jaques to all my friends and family. I was born in Worthing, Sussex, England. Parents were Frederic Charles Rayner Jaques and Maudie Mary (nee Jones) Jaques. I have my Family Tree back to 1660, starting with John Dennett and Mary Lawder. My original FT showed that they had four daughters, Ann (1690) married to Wm. Gravely, Elizabeth (1692) married to Joseph Jaques, Hannah (1693) married to Wm. Eldridge and Sarah (1695). However, further research has shown that the Elizabeth I have, baptised on 25th January, 1692, died and was buried on 5th January, 1695. Then John and Mary had a baby girl born three weeks later on the 18th February, 1695 who they also named Elizabeth and it was this daughter who married Joseph Jaques, from whom our Jaques' Family Tree starts. Their eldest son Charles, married Sarah Kemp and it is through this line I am descended. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has any connection with this branch of the Jaques' family.
