I was born in Worthing, England in 1923 and I started with a Family Tree that my Grandmother had someone research for her in England sometime pre WW2. Over the past 20 years I have researched through contacts made mainly through the Internet, with information from Parish Registers, friends and family members and now have quite a substantial Family Tree.
I knew that my mother was an actress and that her parents were Music Hall artists. As children, we were told that both her parents had died when she was six, that she was born in Leeds and that she was adopted by an aunt. Through the Internet, I was found by the daughter of a cousin who I didn't even know existed and thanks to Stacey, I now have my mother's family going back to 1813 with almost one hundred members and the truth that only her mother had died of cervical cancer.
I look forward to continuing my Family Tree with the addition of photographs and anecdotes. Mainly due to WW2, our immediate family is spread through Canada, United States, England and Australia.
