My parents were Eugenio Jasso and Maria Gallo. My Dad was born in Brownsville TX as his parents Narciso Jasso and Inez Avalos were crossing over from Mexico. My grandparents were born in San Luis Potosi MX. My grandparents had 10 children, 7 boys and 3 girls. My Dad Eugenio was the oldest born in 1916, followed by Candido, Juanita, Max, Joe, Trinidad, Jesusita, Stanley, Arturo and Otilia. My grandfather went to work for the railroad and some of the kids were born in Iola KS. The younger kids were born in Deming NM where my grandparents settled and died. As of Nov 2002, only Juanita, Trinidad, Jesusita, Stanley, Arturo and Otilia are living. My grandfather's parents were Juan Jasso and Julia Vega who also came to the US and settled and died in Lordsburg, NM. My grandmother's parents were Juan Ramirez and Margarita Rangel. My mother, Maria Gallo, was born in Encarnacion De Diaz Jalisco, MX in 1912 to Teodoro Gallo and Maria Macias.
