In my search for my ancestry, I have found the following information:
My mother was born Karen M. Fontaine 29-Apr-1949 in Worcester, MA, USA to Maria Mary (Campanale) Fontaine & Wilfred Fontaine. They had two other daughters: Eugenie (the oldest) and Denise (the youngest). Maria Campanale was born 09-Feb-1921 in Worcester, MA, USA to Irene (Masci) Campanale & Vincenzo Campanale. Several other children were born, including, but not limited to, Stella, Josephine, and Benjamin. I believe they had twin boys who died at a very early age. I have no background on Irene & Vincenzo in terms of parents, etc.
My father was born Robert L. DiBenedetto 14-Mar-1940 in Boston, MA, USA to Rose (Earabino) DiBenedetto & Nicholas DiBenedetto. They had several other children, including, but not limited to, Nicholas, and Marie. Rose Earabino DiBenedetto was born 16-Feb-1912, place unknown. Nicholas DiBenedetto was born somewhere around 1900-1910 (approximately), place also unknown. Nicholas was born to Vincenzo DiBenedetto & Gerolima (maiden name unknown). His place of birth is unknown, as is any additional information on his parents. I am not certain of the spelling of Gerolima, but my Father assures me it is correct. :)
I also have some inherited family through my mother's marriage to my stepfather, James L. Jean. I was lucky enough to be raised by such a wonderful man as if I were his very own blood, and have been a part of the Jean family from the age of 5, so I am also very interested in that aspect of my family tree. James L. was born 5-Jul-1947 to Pauline (Houle) Jean & Leo J. Jean. They also had Donna & Sherry in that order. Leo Jean was born 15-Apr-approx 1924. Pauline was born Antoinette Houle and went by the name Pauline because she liked it better. I do not have all of the info on this family with me, so I will update this section at a later date. Leo's parents were Ludger Jean & Margaret Hayes. It is believed that either Ludger's father or grandfather was a Blackfoot Indian by the name of Jeremiah.
Anyone with information regarding any of my family members is encouraged to contact me via email. I'm always looking for new info.
