Holly Jebb's Family Tree

Updated May 8, 2001

About Our Family Research

Starting with the Jebbs, I have researched back at least five generations on all branches. My paternal gggrandfather Charles Jebb (b. England) married Frances ? (born in Canada of Irish parents) & settled first in Sullivan Co., NH, then in Olean, NY. His son marred into the Simon Willard & John Ball families (Winchester, NH and Warwick, MA respectively). My paternal ggrandmother Eva L. Reese was the daughter of Frederick Dockstader Reese (descendant of George Dachstader - NY) , who settled in Ohio with wife Margaret Ann Stewart (daughter of Jonathan Stewart & Elizabeth Clement). There is also the Smiths (both paternal and maternal side). My maternal grandfather is descended from two families which go back to Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia (Elliotts and Browns), as well as from a William Smith (b. England) who settled in Worcester, MA (his son was one George H. Smith). My paternal ggrandfather was also a George H. Smith, however he was born in OH and settled in Ravenna, Portage Co., OH after marrying Eva Reese. I have found two immediate family relatives (one on the Jebb side and one on the Ball side) through searching the internet, and look forward to finding more!
