Looking for the ancestors of Thomas Jenkins. He was married to Nellie Sisk. They had thirteen children and Russell is my ancestor. I've registered the family as 'First Families in Ohio' by the Ohio Genealogical Society (OGS), #1690. I've registered Russell in the 'General Society of the War of 1812', #4913. They are purported to have migrated from Shenandoah Valley, possibly Rockingham Co., VA in 1806 to Mad River Tp., Champaign Clo, OH. Being one of the very first families to build a cabin along Owne's Creek.
