I was born at Hanson, Illinois, Shelby County in 1931.Was raised in Shafter Township, Fayette County Il.. Graduated 1949 from Vandalia Comm. H.S.. Spent a little over 3yrs in the USAF and Returned to Central Illinois (Decatur area) for most of my adult life. Lived in Branson, Missouri 1997 to 2000. We Left Branson in May 2000 and are now located in Marshall, IL..
I am new to Family research but I have partial Information on 5 Generations of Jerdens. Beginning with Vertal Hugh (my Father), Marion Whitfield (my Grandfather), James Martin (G. Grandfather), James Jerden/Jordan (my G.G. Grandfather)who was married to Mary Harris. Her Father was Wooten Harris (my G.G.G.grandfather). Her Mothers name was Francis Adams.
My Grandmother was Edith Florance Parham, her father William Paschal Parham, His Father was Willie Jones Parham.
I have 3 children from my first Marriage (She passed away several yrs. ago) I now have a new wife and 3 step children.
