This Page covers the Genealogy of the Jernigans that migrated from Hardeman County TN to the north Texas area. I am descended from William Crawford Jernigan. His son my great great grandfather William Henry Jernigan brought his family and my great grandfather to north texas and the Rockwall/Fannin county area in the mid 1880's. Then around 1905 my great grandfather James Walter Jernigan left northeast Texas for Henderson county where my grandfather Henry Thomas Jernigan was born.
