Jericho Films was set up in 1999 to promote young film-makers in the Southport area of the United Kingdom. The first film released on the label was 'College Rats' by Paul Jericho and Alex Sweeney. A successful film festival at the Southport Arts Centre resulted in Ste Ball's 'Lost' and Dan Ashton' 'Mr.Nasty of Weston' being released on our label.
There are currently several exciting projects in the pipeline, mostly short films and artistic pieces. However, Paul Jericho has been given the go-ahead to film his long-awaited movie, 'For Suburban Serenity' which he wrote in 1999. The movie will be shot in Southport and will hopefully be premiered at the Southport Arts Centre this Summer or early Fall.
