I've only been researching my family history since 1999. Sometimes it has been very frustrating, but mostly it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. My father-in-law peeked my interest when he started researching his family and it just took off from there. I called my mom and got all the information she could remember and thirty minutes later I was talking to my Grandfather that I had not seen in about thirty-three years. So far I've found alot about my family, and most of the credit goes to Douglas Jobes of Texas, Storm "Jobs" Yanicks of Mercer Island,Washington, and Daniel Harris of Iowa. These wonderful people have been a over-flowing fountain of information. I'm doing this research mostly for my decendants so there will be a history of our family to be passed down through the ages, sort of my legacy. So far I've tracked down over three hundred years of my ancestors, and still searching.
