I am researching the Uriah Stevens family of Southeast Louisiana. Uriah married Nancy Kevil in Kentucky in 1805. He was possibly the son of Elijah Stevens, but the connection has not been proven. Uriah settled in St. Tammany Parish,Louisiana, in 1812 and has many descendants in St. Tammmany, Livingston, Tangipahoa, and surrounding parishes. I would like to hear from any descendants of Uriah and Nancy.
