About Our Family Research

The Juarez Family are descendants of Blas and Rosa Juarez Family of Romita,Guanajuato, Mexico. In 1913, at age 27, Crispin Juarez the oldest son of Blas and Rosa Juarez came to Southern California with his mother Rosa, age 34, brother Herculano,17, and two sisters Maria 8, and Gloria to the San Bernardino County area eventually settling in Mentone, California. Their father Blas Juarez had passed on it is believed at age 74 in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Here is where the first generation began and all the grandchildren have remained with the new generations living in the 2001 millenium in both San Bernardino and Orange County, Southern California.

The Herculano Juarez Family and descendants are native Californians specifically of Orange County. While Maria Juarez and her children and families still remain in Mentone and Redlands, San Bernardino County area, the predominant Herculano and Francisca Juarez immediate families are native Orange County residents to this date.

Since the start of this Juarez Family Tree in 2001, the eldest family member Crispin Juarez has passed on in 1977 at age 91, his brother Herculano Juarez in 1962 at age 67, and their sister Gloria Juarez-Janagua died at age 49. Their mother Rosa Juarez-Gonsalez had remarried shortly after moving to California and also passed on in 1943 at age 67.

Currently, at age 96, Maria Juarez-Vasquez, the only child remaining of Blas and Rosa Juarez still lives in Redlands, California at Roswell Colonial Care and gladly welcomes visitors. She is the last of the first generation of the children of Blas and Rosa Juarez of Romita, Guanajuato, Mexico.
She is surrounded by (7) seven of her (11) children that she had her entire life, and 50 grandchildren, with many many great great grandchildren all living in Redlands and the San Bernardino County area. The Juarez family continues to grow.
