The Scheivert Family originated in Germany. John and Mary Magd (Rothhaupt)Scheivert settled in Adams Co. in south central Pennsylvania. The oldest of their nine children, Margaret was born in 1828.

The recording of our family history was begun by Paul H.Scheivert (4th gen.)and his wife, Hilda Norwwood Scheivert
in the late 1950s.

We have had a yearly Family Reunion in August since 1959 and enjoy getting together and visiting and would welcome the
opportunity to meet long lost relatives.
