I'm a descendant of George Gilmour(Gilmore) b. 02 July 1853 in California and d. 07 Aug 1939 in Biggsville, Henderson, Illinois. He married Amanda Garrett 10 June 1875 in Raritan, Henderson, Illinois. She was born 03 Sept 1857 in Raritan, Henderson, Illinois and died 18 Apr 1933 in Biggsville, Henderson, Illinois. They had 3 sons Joseph Coleman Gilmour ( my g-grandfather) b. 01 Oct 1876 in Raritan, Henderson, Illinois and died 30 Aug 1932 in Scranton, Lackawanna, Pennsylavania. Their 2nd son Arthur Gilmour b. 29 Nov 1878 in Raritan, Henderson, Illinois and died Bet. 1920-1930. The 3rd son William Ervin b. 17 May 1881 in Walton, Harvey, Kansas.
On my G-G-Grandfather George, I'm unable to proceed further do to the fact that he was an Orphan. Between 1853 and 1860 he moved to Henderson Co., Illinois and is living with a Matthew Family. He is listed in the 1860's and 1870's Cesus with this family, so if anybody has information about this please contact me I would appreciate it.
