I have only just begun to compile info. on my ancestors on my Paternal side of family. Edward Kaha (my father) was born in Hono.Hi. on 03/24/24 to William and Rachel (maiden:Liwai)Kaha.
He has a brother Wm. Jr. and had a sister Rachel whom died at an early age. I am sure there are other siblings but am uncertain as to what their names are.
Edw.died on 11/02/85 in Lou.,Ky. Rachel died but am uncertain of the date. Was probably in the late 50's or early 60's. Wm. was brought to Lou. to reside with my father in 1978.He died also in Lou. in 1980.
Other then meeting a step-uncle, John Haili in 1983 I have not met this side of family.
My father was extremely proud of his Hawaiian heritage and I am determined to carry this on.
I do know that both grandparents were born on Molokai around 1900.
