| About Our Family Research |
|
I have conducted research on my family roots over the last 30 years and have gone back 10 generations on both my parents roots - Charles Kamau Muriithi from Itemeini Karima Location Othaya Nyeri and Beth Njoki Githae originally from Kiairathe Kangema in Muranga Kenya.
My family root on my father's side is Mbari ya Wakahiti and this is linked to Mbari ya Kabera and Mbari ya Githige. These three were brothers whose father was Githure in Othaya Nyeri. We are of the Anjiru Clan (muhiriga) and specifically Anjiru Airu a Kihaaro sub clan.
My family root on my mother's side is Mbari ya Mururu from Kiandemi (Gitugu) Kangema Muranga.
The family tree goes into great detail but still requires a lot of filling in and I would welcome contributors.
Anyone who would like to help or would require information can contact me directly.
