The first information I have is of a John Baldwin who was born August 11, 1470 in Aylesbury, Buckingham, England (the son of William Baldwin & Jane Aylesbury?) and his brother Richard, born in 1468 & died on September 21, 1485. John Baldwin died October 24, 1545.
John Baldwin had a son, Richard, who was born in 1503 in Aston (Ashton?) Clinton, Bucks, England. He married Ellen Pooke (or Apuke) - and died betwwen 1552 and 1553.

Richard Baldwin left his property to his 3 sons: Henry, John and Richard. Henry was the executor of the will & he became owner in fee simple of the family property, Dundridge, Ashton Clinton, where he & his wife, Alice, spent their lives.
