Ancestors of present day "Qazi family of Old Hala", migrated from Arab lands and came in Sindh with Muhammad Bin Qasim. First they settled in Sehwan Sharif, a spiritual town in Sindh, and then they migrated to another spiritual place Hala (old). They were mostly in Agriculture business.
They also held different dignitary positions in the courts of rulers of Sindh "The Talpur Mirs". They also held the posts of QAZI of justice courts. They were also in civil services of different governments.
