I am trying to get any info I can about them, but both my maternal grandparents were orphaned at very young ages, making the searches a bit harder for me. My grandmother was Lucille Cora Phenix, born in 1912 in New Bedford,MA. Her father was Arthur Phenix,born July 4, 1886 in New Bedford, MA, and her mother was Cora A. Rock.Cora is believed to have been born in Canada. My grandfather was Armand Camille Belanger (Camille, according to his birth certificate), born Feb 15, 1905 in Holyoke,MA. His parents were Thomas Belanger and Diana (Billy)Begesy. Both believed to be born in Canada.Perents of Thomas are Narcisse Belanger & Emilie Guimond. My grandmother had 5 brothers, Julien, Laurent, Roger, Norman, & Walter. Only Walter is still living, Roger was killed in action during WWII. My grandfather had about 10 brothers & sisters, but most of them died before he was born. I know only the names of a couple of his siblings, Napolean, Eva, and Eyre,(not sure on that last one). He was raised by the Laliberte family after his parents died.
