On 29th of August 2004 I, Mohammed Abdul Azeem Kazmi started working on my maternal family tree for which I have gathered some details. I am starting my family tree from Nawab Mohammed Ibrahim Khan who was better known as Sharf-ud-Daula, the title given to him by the Nawab of Awadh. He was the prime minister of Awadh, a princely state in North India before the independence of India in 1947, with its capital Lucknow. This part now comes under the state of Uttar Pradesh in India.
Nawab Mohammed Ibrahim Khan was killed by the British Empire during the mutiny of 1857 and he was survived by his son Nawab Mohammed Yousuf Khan who came to the then State of Hyderabad in southern part of India. Hyderabad is now capital of Andhra Pradesh in southern India.
I would like to request those who come to this site to provide me with whatever details they can to complete this task which is very dear to me.
Thanks..
