Thomas Ferguson Keathley Family Tree (of Pevely, MO)

Updated April 13, 2002

About Our Family Research

Thomas was born in Washington, D.C. on 9/24/62. His twin, Sherman Lee Keathley now resides in St. Louis, MO. LEE is married to Anne (Tamboli) Keathley, and they have two children Matthew (9/92), and Mary (12/94). Thomas (Tom) is married to Deborah (Sullivan) Keathley and they also have two children, John (10/92) and Jamie (12/94). Tom and Debby reside in Atlanta, GA presently.

I (Debby) am researching Toms' mothers side. Toms mother, Yukiko Kato, married Sherman Ferguson Keathley (ie. Ferg) and they raised their two boys in Pevely, Missouri. Ferg headed up the Teamsters Camp in Pevely, MO (22 miles south of St. Louis). Ferg died in March of 1994. Yukiko (Yuki) was born 12/16/21, in Danville, CA. She later went to grammar school in Walnut Creek, and played girls' basketball (the BUSY BEE'S). Her mother was KOTO ABE. Yuki's father, SHOJI KATO, left when she was young and returned to Japan. This is where the "tree" is blank and I am trying to fill in the pieces. Koto Abe remarried a JACK TAKEMOTO. I only know that SHOJI KATO was from the area of SAKURA MULA FUKUSHIMA in Japan. Yuki is aware that he remarried and had other children.

Yuki has a sister, Chii Kato (aka Dorothy Poley), born on 11/30/1919; she is widowed by Robert Poley and now residing in Yakima, WA; and a half-sister Chiyo (Takemoto) Winters, born on December 4, UNK; (widowed by Howard Winters and now residing in Sunnyvale, CA).

My father, Jerry Sullivan, has retired and began doing genealogy research years ago. He has traced our Sullivan/Sullibane(?)clan back to the 1600's in Ireland!!

I have just ordered the FTM version 9.0 to get more involved. Wish me luck!
