Initial work on the Keeler/McVey family tree was begun by my mother, Ruth M Keeler (nee McVey) in the 1990's. she provided me (Elaine Keeler) with all the data (documents, handwritten notes and letters, and anecdotal information). I entered this into the computer and circluated it to immediate family members for corrections, updates and extension. At the present time I am exploring the census records of 1870 -1930 for New Jersey, New York and Mass. to research additional information on the Keeler, Murphy, and McVey families. Work on the Rheuban/David Family Tree was initiated to capture the information about my husband, Sid's, ancestors. As senior members of the Rheuban and David families became fewer and fewer, Sid and I wanted to collect whatever data we had. Most of this was from Sid's memories and discussions with other family members. We did visit several old cemeteries to corroborate our facts.
