Alan is a son of Jack Keers, and Mary Jo Weaver Keers. He is the fourth of seven children (one is deceased.) Children living are Marsha Lynn Keers Jacobs Ayers, Diane Sue Keers Lawton, Alan Jeffrey, Patrick Joseph, Gary Lee and Jay Scott.
Lindy Lou Cope Keers is daughter of David W Cope (deceased) and Patricia Carol Emry Cope (she remarried Steele, then Mouzakis.) Siblings include, Cheryl Lolita Cope Cannon, David Earl Cope, Katherine Marie Steele Moore, Susan Kay Steele Hudson.
Alan and Lindy were married April 29, 1978 in Speedway Indiana at St Lukes United Church of Christ by Rev. Robert Mackey.
We have three daughters, Jennifer Lynn (Young), Melissa Sue, and Valerie Kay Keers. Grandchildren Christian Isaiah Keers and Elizabeth Grace Young (both by Jennifer Lynn)
We claim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and have been baptized. Alan attends Kingsway Christian Church in Avon Indiana. Lindy attends Bethesda Baptist Church in Brownsburg Indiana.
