This is the Kelly family tree, based on the family of John Thomas Kelly, Jr. and Patricia Mescall Kelly, both from Connecticut. John's grandparents came to this country from Ireland; we believe from County Galway. We don't have much information on this side of the family. Patricia Mescall's parents were Phillip Mescall and Bessie Nickerson. We don't have much information on the Mescall side of the family, but have extensive information on the Nickersons, going all the way back to William Nickerson, who was born about 1604 in Norwich, England. He later immigrated to the United States and helped to settle Cape Cod. William died between 1689 and 1690 and is buried in Chathamport, MA Patricia Mescall Kelly is the 11th generation of William's family.
