Philip arrived in this Country on 4/12/1858 aboard the ship "Reporter". He moved in with his brother Fridolin and stayed there through 1864. He was a frame maker and gilder. He married Josephine Ferhle in 1864 in a Lutheran Church at 631 N. 5th Street, and had at least two children, Frank and Anna. Philip died in Philadelphia between 1895 and 1900.
