Thomas Michael the first white child born in Brinkley, AR May 3,1873.He attended U of Ark 1889 and 1890. Married Marie Elva Sheehy in Green Bay, Wisc in 1908. His mother was Bridget Maloney Kelly and father was Michael Kelly who were married sept 23, 1871 at Memphis, TN. Bridget Kelly died Nov 20, 1920 and Michael Kelly died Aug 19,1999. This information comes from the family bible. We have an article about Michael Kelly, who fought in the Civil War and was quoted speaking with the Irish brogue. We do not know where Micheal Kelly was born and would like to trace the family back to the Irish roots. I have always heard it was county Cork but am not sure.
