Rev. Arthur Fernandez Waters lived in Clinton, Indiana when he died. He was married twice and had two children by Lillie Belle his first wife, Earl amd Mable Evelyn.
I have always wanted to research this side of my family as I only got to spend a few weeks of every summer with them , I grew up in New York. My uncle years back told me many interesting things about them which I wrote in a notebook in hopes of some day doing a family search. The time has now arrived and I find that these family members of the past were very brave and very interesting. I feel that I have begun to know them. I now live in Illinois, my birth state. I have not lived here since the age of two. I was born in Urbana, my God parents were two of my aunts from Shelby county and I was christened by my grandfather, Rev. Waters. His second wife, Grace, was very dear to me and I found her to be the example of the grandmother I strive to be. She was a retired school teacher and a great cook and story teller. This search is very tedious at times but also very rewarding with excitement with every fact that comes to light.
