My great grandmother Olive Lavern Youst married my G-Grandfather 14 Jan 1866 in Marion,Co Wv. My g-granrdfather Henry H.Minnear(Minear)Born Aug.1844 I would like as much info as Ican get on the Minnear Side I Have my Keller (Kellar) back to Joseph Keller married to Martha Keller nolast name,no dates.One son George Keller born 19 Apr.1758 in Stoverstown,Shenandoah,Va.Ihave a long story on Geoege,he fought in several indian battles and the Rev.WarGeorge volunteered at Staunton,Agusta,Va.July 1779 to fight under Capt.Christee to fight the Cherokee Nation,They marched in the same month to Botcourt and into North Carolina on the Holstien River.In the next few days they marched and after crossing the Tennessee River fought the Indians and burnt six Indian towns and signed six treatys with the Indians.Marched back to Staunton and was discharged a few days befor Christmass.In April 1780 he was called up to fight under Capt. Thompsons Volunteer company of riflemen from Staunton to the West fork of the Monongahela River to protect the frontier settlements against the Indians.One half the men were stationed at Wests fort(now Jane Lew)The outher half at Lowthers Fort. In Nov.1780 he marched in a company under the comand of COL.Sampson Mathews to Falmouth,and then to Hunters Works From there they went back to Falmouth then to Fredericksberg,Down the Rappahannock River,and crossed the James River at Sandy point.Which was a mile below Cabin Point and on to Suffolk.From there they went to Camp Carson.From Camp Carson men were sent toGuilford where there was a battle,During the winter there were eeveral skirmishes with Benedick Arnolds troops,he being the traiter that fought for the English.Keller also fought in the battle of Cowpens and was in NY when Gen.Cornwallis surrenderd his sword to Gen. Washington.After the Rev. he continued to reside in Augusta until 1786 when he moved to Monongalia.Co. George Keller(Kellar) and wife Martha had Seven children.
