My mother, Leona (Peggy) Duncan Shook Allen began reseaching the Duncan family in 1976. We held the First Annual Duncan Reunion at her home in Chesterhill in 1996. This year, in September 2002, we held our seventh reunion at Emory Park in Pennsville with some of our Michigan cousins in attendance.
As far as I know, the Morgan County Shook's have never had a reunion...but we all keep in touch through Grandma (Delores Shook).
Grandma was born a North and there is absolutely no way for all the North's to keep in touch...there are just too many of us. Two of our most ambitious and hard working family members have just this week managed to publish our first North family history. Thank you Caroline and Billie, we are forever grateful.
