Margaret Kellar (Johnson) (Garrison) (Zavitz)
I was born Margaret Milson Zavitz -Dec.2nd. 1927.
My father was John Zavitz and my mother was Agnes Zavitz-nee Milson or Milsom.My mother died Dec. 9th, 1927. She was born June 12th, 1900, I think. I was adopted by John & Ellen Garrison. I know that I had 4 sisters older than I am. I have found out that my birth mother was probably one of Dr. Barnardo's Home Children. That she was shipped to Canada from Liverpool, England, aboard the SS Tunisian, the 28th of July, 1910, when she was 8 or 9 years old.

I have known for a while about the Zavitz side of my birth family but could not get any information about my birth mother's family. I have been curious for many years about this and have now started to search for information about her.
