Kelly / Kelley surname in Early Canada

Updated February 28, 2001

About Our Family Research

My great-grandparents; Daniel KELLEY and Maria FLEMING, both from Ireland, apparently met and married in Upper Canada in 1845 - they represent my main 'brick wall', as their marriage record gives no hint as to their origins or parentage. Because of this fact, I have been gathering information from fellow researchers who have Kelly ancestors in Canada prior to 1900.

There are 'ancestral tables' from over 150 fellow researchers at the 'Kelly Kanadian Kin' web site at: http://www.cyberbeach.net/~mkelly/

If you had Kelly ancestors residing in Canada at one time, you are welcome to check out the ancestal tables posted to the 'researchers' pages! It may take you a while to go through all of the tables though - there are a lot of separate families listed! If your family is not represented on the website, feel free to submit your own info.
