Currently researching the french side of my tree surnames include languille,longuiel,boutileir,keyser,bouthenot. They were inhabitants of these area in france, Dampierre-les-bois,montebeliard dampierre-outre-les-bois in montebeliard,france,brognard france in the 1600s-1700s. they migrated to canada in the 1800s. to Quebec, nova scotia,PEI. then filtered in to the united states, in states such as New hamshire,Vermont,Conneticut,Virginia.
