Our Family

Updated November 9, 2000

About Our Family Research

This is a continuation of Robert A. Ferguson's (my father) efforts to compile a family tree. Although I have had problems following his side of our family, I have found a rather extensive listing of my mother's (Anita May Martin) ancestors. Most of this listing is the descendants of Lukas Knauss, born 1633 in Hessen, Germany, but primarily includes the descendents of his son, Ludwig Knauss, who came to America in 1723.

This information was obtained from family members, Family Tree Maker Archives, World Family Tree (WFT) and the Knauss/Knaus/Knouse/Knous Family Descendancy, which was compiled by John A. Knouse (obtained from his home page).
