We have been researching the Kempffer Family of New Carlisle, Quebec and Merrickville, Ontario. We know that there are missing links, although we have had some success with the the family of Fredrick Ludwig, the first Canadian Kempffer. He settled in New Carlisle, Quebec just after the American Revolution. We have found his family in Germany back to 1610. Now we would like to find all his descendents here in North America.
We are also researching the Limbrick Family of London Engand. We know that three brothers, Charles, Hubert and Dennis came to Canada about 1922 with their mother Letitia Caroline Marston (2nd. marriage).Their oldest sibling, Letitia married an Australian, ? Moore, and emigrated to Australia about the same time. We would like to find out more about Letitia Marston's husband ?Marston, who, we think came from Thunder Bay, Ontario, and about Letitia (Letty) Moore's family (our cousins) in Australia. We believe it was a large family. One son is named Vivian, and one is Denis. We believe that one or more of the boys came to Canada during WWII with the Commonwealth Air Training Plan.We believe that Letty Moore had a grandaughter named Harlene. If you have any connection to either of these families, please contact me at <pkempffer@ripnet.com>.
