The Wombles, Wagers, Jobe Laws, Hubbard, Smith lines of Ky

Updated October 22, 2003

About Our Family Research

My father is Tip Wombles. He is the son of Sarah Hubbard, and Perry Wombles. I have at least 4, or 5 Smiths line from both of them.Sarah Hubbard is the daughter of Martha Laws Hubbard, and John Dee Hubbard. Martha Laws Hubbard is the daughter of Jobe Laws, and Julia Laws. I have an 1894 school census of clay, ky that has Jobe Laws, by name.It list him, and his kids list in school in 1894. Matilda Laws age 19, Sally Laws age 17, Charlie Laws, age 16. Martha Laws age 10. They were all by Jobe Laws name as his kids. This clearly shows Martha Laws in Jobe household, going to school with the other sister's, and brother. She was Jobe Laws, and Julia Laws, baby girl. Born about 1884, ky. Her daughter Sarah Hubbard can be found in Jobe Laws house with three other kids, one is a Mcdonald, the other a Davis. Sarah Hubbard was listed with them. She was listed as Jobe Laws, and Julia Laws grandaughter.Martha Laws Hubbard married John Hubbard in 1899. Clay, ky. I have no ideal why all three of these kids were there without their parents. in 1910 Sarah Hubbard married Perry Wombles,in 4-19-1817 Clay, Ky. John Hubbard is the suppose to be the son of Willis, Hubbard, and Hannah Smith. Now here is some things on Perry Wombles line. Perry Wombles, is the son of Millard Wombles, and Edeah Smith. Millard Wombles, is the son of Alabama Smith, and John Wombles. John Wombles, is the son of Joshua Wombles, and Rebecca Wagers. Edeah Smith is the daughter of Jenima Smith. Jenima Smith is the daughter of Eliias Smith, and Eddy Smith. The one my great granma got her name from. I believe Jenima Smith married Eljiah Smith. or another Smith. This may be my Eady Smith's father. Because Jenima Smith was listed as a widow, in the census with my great granma. The were living with Jenima's father,Elias Smith, ad Eddy Smith's home in Clay, ky.
